Clergy and Lay Day Apart
You are invited to participate in an upcoming Clergy and Lay Day Apart with Bishop Jeff Greenway as we continue discerning God’s call upon the Global Methodist Church and the Heartland Conference.
The event will be held at Asbury Church, 2801 W 15th St. in Wichita.
Bishop Greenway will join us for a focused time of encouragement, teaching, prayer, and challenge as we live more fully into our shared mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading scriptural holiness across the globe.
As the Heartland Conference moves beyond its earliest season, these days are designed to help us reflect together on who God is shaping us to be—moving from a collection of independent congregations toward a deeply connected church engaged in shared mission, prayer, and multiplication. We will spend time discussing our identity as the GMC, our calling as Heartland, and how we can come together to:
- Strengthen our churches as houses of prayer
- Engage in mission and ministry collaboratively
- Plant new churches and ministries in new places
